Downpipe Rain Heads

Rain Heads Logo
Fit rain heads to downpipes to deflect leaves and debris.

Rain heads direct leaves and larger debris out of the flow of the water. The type of rain head that is required depends on the type of system. Multiple screen rain heads are best. “Wet” systems require rain heads to be fitted with screens that are mosquito proof (<1mm apertures). Rain heads that screen the larger material onto the ground are better than “junk basket” types.

Rain heads protect the home by preventing gutters from blocking and flooding of eaves. They also remove a potential fire hazard.

Rain heads from Rain Harvesting Pty Ltd
Rain Harvesting Pty Ltd manufactures a complete range of high performance rain heads, including:

The Leaf Eater® is the ultimate high performance rain head and was the first multi-screen rain head developed.

Not only does it protect the home by preventing gutters from blocking and eaves flooding, the Leaf Eater® also improves water quality and reduces tank maintenance.

The Leaf Beater® is a compact high performance rain head making it ideal for use with under eaves tanks.

The Leaf Beater® features an integrated flow directional gutter outlet which directs the flow of water from the gutters onto an adjustable elliptical primary screen of 6mm aperture. This screen is virtually vertical enabling the action of the water to wash the screen and minimise maintenance.

The Leaf Catcha® is a versatile leaf and debris catcher with two horizontal internal screens. One is 6mm and the other stainless steel screen is 0.955mm to keep mosquitoes out.

The Leaf Catcha® is ideal for low rainfall, low leaf areas and is available in popular  colours .
