Patented fixing systems ensure a secure fit

Blue Mountain Mesh™ is an ideal solution for metal roofs, whether it be a corrugated (also called Colorbond®) roofs or Bullnose verandahs, Trimdeck, Flatpan, ClipLock etc. A flush fit to the roof surface is ensured using either of our patented 'profiles' or 'saddles'.

On metal roofs, Blue Mountain Mesh™ is usually secured to the roof sheets about 20mm beyond the first line of roof fixing screws. This ensures a wide, downward sloping section of mesh that helps ensure leaves and debris are blown off the roof by wind or washed off by rainfall. It also prevents leaves getting stuck on roof fixing screws.

Corrugated (or Colorbond®) roofs
The 'fingers' on the 'profiles' used to fit mesh to corrugated (or Colorbond®) roofs fit flush into the valley of each corrugation, ensuring leaves and debris are blown up and over the mesh. Screws are fixed into the ridge of each corrugation ensuring a flush fit with the roof surface. The mesh is taken up and over the existing roof fixing screws by about 15-20mm, ensuring the mesh provides a continuation of the roof pitch down and over the outside edge of the gutter. This makes it easier for leaves and debris to be blown away by gentle wind action, or washed off by the rain.
TrimDeck (or similar) roofs
The mesh is pre-cut for Trimdeck or Flat Pan roofs and 'saddles' are use to ensure a flush fit with the roof. The mesh can be hand cut for other styles of roofs such as Spandeck and Longspan.
Bullnose Verandahs

Blue Mountain Mesh™ is the only mesh system that can be effectively installed for bullnose verandahs - a special 'profile', with shorter 'fingers' than that used on corrugated roofs, ensures a flush fit with the roof.
