Half-Round Gutters are becoming popular because they flush far better than conventional square line or quad gutters. When there is only light rain and a small water flow, the flow of water is concentrated within a small area at the bottom of the gutter . This accelerates the flow, and the faster the water flows, the better it carries fines and debris. With the same light water flow over the bottom of conventional gutters, the flow is virtually zero and no/minimal debris or fines is taken down the outlet and the gutter slowly blocks up.
