Because you tank levels are displayed on a small LCD screen on the Receiver which can be connected to a powerpoint at a convenient location, you get an early warning of your tank levels.
You can either reduce your usage as required, or if your tank needs to be refilled (eg. with water or petrol), you can provide plenty of notice to your supplier.
